What in the world is Yume Nikki?
Yume Nikki ("Dream Diary") is a Japanese freeware game created in RPG Maker. You play as a young girl named Madotsuki, a hikokomori who, presumably due to some traumatic event in her past, refuses to leave her tiny apartment. There is little to do while awake, but going to sleep takes you to a gigantic dream world. It is an exploration game, and while exploring your dream Madotsuki may pick up several "effects" ranging to the mundane such as a bicycle or a knife, to the bizzare such as neon glow or the ability to turn into a severed head. It is known mostly for its bizzare gameplay and surreal enviroments.

DISCLAIMER: All of the characters in this RP, aside from OCs, belong to the original creator.

How to Join:

1) Fill out this form and send it to us in a note to this account entitled "(Character's name) Application".

a) Name of the character you are applying for.
b) How often you'll be online.
c) Write two paragraphs, one describing the character from your point of view, the other being a description while in character.
d) Put any questions you have about the roleplay here.

2) Once you've recieved a note from me telling you you're accepted, create an account. DO NOT create an account until your application has been accepted.

3) Once your account has been created, make an introduction journal. Don't forget to comment at the HQ so we know your account is made!

THE RULES:

1) Spelling and grammar are important. No "chtspk".
2) If you have been offline for two weeks or more, unless you let us know in advance that you won't be able to access your page for a while, we will assume you have given up your account.
3) You are allowed to roleplay two and only two characters.
